Upholding specific values and guiding principles is fundamental to MPIE; these principles foster a positive work environment and encourage open communication. Despite our best efforts, conflicts or issues may still arise. In such instances, employees can be assured that they won't be left to deal with them alone. This support extends to handling conflicts, preventing them, addressing bullying, abuse, and tackling instances of scientific misconduct. Both the institute and the Max Planck Society have designated contact persons available for all scenarios.
