Postdocnet

The institute’s Postdocnet is the interdepartmental representation of all postdoctoral researchers working at the Max Planck Institute for Sustainable Materials (MPI-SusMat). Establlished in October 2021, it fosters interdisciplinary collaboration, supports career development, and strengthens networking among postdocs at MPI-SusMat.

The internal Postdocnet representatives are Baptiste Bienvenu, Aparna Saksena and Bárbara Bellón with Patricia Jovičević-Klug serving as the external representative in cooperation with the Max Planck Society’s Postdocnet. Together they provide information on funding opportunities, organize activities, and promote social events to help postdocs connect and collaborate.

An in-house young talent teaching program is also part of the initiative: postdoctoral fellows give a series of lectures to gain valuable teaching experience for their future career paths. In addition, the Postdocnet shares information on mentoring opportunities as well as family support servies.
