The poster session is planned for Monday evening. To make it attractive for young scientists, a flash poster session will be performed prior to the poster session. The posters are displayed throughout the whole conference.
Hackathons (hands-on sessions) will take place every afternoon (except Wednesday) and are supposed to be close to topics addressed in the keynote lectures during the day, but suitable in particular for young scientists to get a deeper understanding of the underlying workflow and digital concepts. Furthermore, the methods transferred become in this way directly accessible to the participants.
On Sunday (29 Oct) evening (8 pm) we plan a brain-storming session to determine topics for the interest in topics for the hackathons. Currently, the following topics are envisioned: (i) development of ML interatomic potentials, (ii) workflow representation in IDEs, (iii) phase diagrams, (iv) large language models. The outcomes and lessons learned in these hackathons will be presented and discussed on Friday morning.
