Several experts in the fields of ab initio/atomistic simulation have been asked to give 60-minute tutorial like presentations. The speakers have an interest in magnetism in common and will cover all aspects mentioned in the scope of the workshop, including

    Phase stability,

    Lattice vibrations

    Point and extended defects

    Diffusion

Most of the presentations will be theoretical, but insights from closely related experiments will also be presented.

More specifically, the following scientists have been invited to give a presentation:

    Igor Abrikosov (Linköping University, Sweden)

    Hakim Amara (ONERA, Palaiseau, France)

    Sergiy Diviniski (Universität Münster, Germany)

Sergei L. Dudarev (UKAEA Culham, UK)

    Christian Elsässer (IWM Freiburg, Germany)

Peter Entel (University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany)

Chu Chun Fu (CEA Saclay, France)

Mikhail Katsnelson (Radboud University of Nijmegen )

    Ingrid Mertig (Universität Halle-Wittenberg, Germany)

    Matous Mrovec (IWM Freiburg, Germany)

Zi-Kui Liu* (Penn State University, USA)

    Veronique Pierron-Bohnes (IPCMS, Strasbourg, France)

    Andrei Ruban (KTH Stockholm, Sweden)

Marcel Sluiter (TU Delft, The Netherlands)
