Electrified solid/water interfaces – theory meets experiment

Electrified solid/water interfaces – theory meets experiment

The workshop will bring together leading scientist from both theory and experiment investigating solid/liquid interfaces to evaluate where we stand and to discuss the opportunities to achieve a truly microscopic understanding of the electochemical interace and double layer by incorporting insights from the atomistic and electronic scale.

We would like to invite you to participate in our three-day workshop, which will be held May 15-18, 2022 at Ringberg Castle. The purpose of the workshop is to bring together leading scientiest from both theory and experiment to identify outstanding challenges, missing pieces, and novel direction which will allow us to achieve a truly microscopic understanding of electrified solid/liquid interfaces.

To ensure the safety of the participants during the in person experience the 3G principle applies indoors: Personal access is only available to vaccinated, recovered, or currently tested persons. Participants have the obligation to wear a mask indoors.  Further details about the rules at Ringberg Castle regarding COVID-19 protection are found here.
