Work Council

The Works Council is an elected body of MPI-SusMat employees that represents staff interests towards the institue’s executive board, within the framework of German labour law. It works to ensure fair and transparent agreements on key topics as flexitime, working hours, and employee performative reviews.

A central mission of the Works Council is to continously improve conditions and everyday life at the institute. It also acts as mediator in case of conflicts between staff and executive board. All employees can approach Works Council at any time for advice or support.
