2012 ISE Prize for Applied Electrochemistry awarded to Karl Mayrhofer - 24.07.12
The International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE) announced that the 2012 ISE Prize for Applied Electrochemistry is awarded to the leader of the electrocatalysis group, Karl J.J. Mayrhofer. The ISE Prize for Applied Electrochemistry is awarded once a year to a scientist of less than 35 years for recent application-oriented achievements in the field of applied electrochemistry. The prize was awarded to Karl Mayrhofer for his work on nanoparticulate catalysts for low-temperature fuel cell applications. The prize will be presented at the Awards Session of the 64th Annual ISE Meeting that will be held in Santiago de Querétaro, Mexico, in September 2013.
