Dr. Yue Li
Main Focus
- During Ph.D, he focused on the experiment and modeling of as-cast microstructure and hot tearing study in commercial 7xxx aluminum alloys (an international cooperation project cooperated with Prof. L. Katgerman from Delft University of Technology). As the first author, he has published three hot tearing related research papers in Metall. Mater. Trans. A (2016-2019) and one review paper named Recent advances in hot tearing during casting of aluminium alloys, Pro. Mater. Sci. 2021.
- During postdoc, with the support of the BiGmax project, he focuses on the atom probe tomography data analysis with the help of advanced machine learning algorithms. A recent work has been published named Convolutional neural network-assisted recognition of nanoscale L12 ordered structures in face-centred cubic alloys, npj Comput. Mater. 2021.
