Registration & Deadline

Application

We encourage Ph. D. students, post-docs, young and senior scientists working on materials defects phases  and defect phase diagrams to contribute to the discussions and to present their own research. The number of participants is strictly limited to 45 (incl. invited speakers) to be accommodated at Ringberg castle. We, therefore, advise scientists interested in attending the workshop to send their application as soon as possible to cm-office@mpi-susmat.de using the subject title  “ADIS2026 Registration”.

Your application should include an abstract (should you want to present your work) and a confirmation that you will stay on site for the whole time of the workshop (14  - 18 Dec 2026). You might also indicate if an accommodation in a single room is preferred. However, due to space limitations, this cannot be guaranteed. Please note that there will be no automatic response to your email. The scientific organizers will inform you about the possibility of participation after the submission deadline.

Deadline

The application / abstract submission deadline is November 1, 2026.

Conference Fee 

The conference fee is 675 €.

The conference fee will be used exclusively to covers full board accommodation (i.e. lodging and meals) for the duration of the workshop.
