Oral Contributions

  • Oral talk time slots are 30 min in total, (1h for invited speaker).
  • As the main intention of the workshop is to stimulate discussion and be a progress meeting, we instruct all speakers to plan for not more than 20 min of scientific content. All presenters should devote at least 10 minutes questions and discussion!
  • Ideas, a good selection of case studies especial those with maybe even controversial results are welcomed.
  • Presentation gear for Windows, Linux, and Mac to hook up laptops will be provided.
  • There is a conference laptop as a backup solution. Therefore, having a backup copy of your talk on a flash drive is a good idea.
  • Presentations in 16:9 / landscape format are preferred.
  • Videos and animations in the presentations should be encoded with animated GIF or other common file formats to assure that they can be displayed smoothly and flawlessly. Otherwise, the presenters need to use their own laptop to assure that possibly exotic formats also play as intended.
  • All presenters are encouraged to provide their slide set for the BIGmax intranet after the workshop.
