Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion

The Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion has been reestablished in 2012 and the field of research has been aligned with the conversion of energy.

The scientists are engaged in basic processes that are essential within the storage and conversion of Energy. The aim is to store energy from regenerative resources like sun and wind so it can be used time- and location-independent.

One of the three departments is linked to the IMPRS-SurMat:

  • Heterogeneous Reactions
