Mechanics Meets Energy 2025
From 6th to 10th January 2025, the 12th “Mechanics Meets Energy” symposium took place at Schloss Ringberg, south of Lake Tegernsee in Bavaria. Researchers from SN and NG presented their scientific results and highlights. Extended discussions were also carried out among all the attendees. Moreover, invited speakers, including Dominique Chatain (Aix Marseille Université - CNRS, France), Hanna Bishara (Tel-Aviv University, Israel), Maïtena Dumont (Groupe de Physique des Matériaux, Rouen,France), Janez Zavašnik and Andreja Šestan Zavašnik (Jožef Stefan Institute, Slovenia), Sung-Gyu Kang (Gyeongsang National University, Korean), gave inspiring talks on their researches. Except for scientific activities, the attendees took the opportunity to hike and tour the neighboring town and Lake Tegernsee. We appreciate the efforts of the team at Schloss Ringberg for hosting our symposium and accommodating us. It was a wonderful experience for everyone.
