Best Trainee Prize for Till Freieck
The Chamber of Industry and Commerce Düsseldorf has awarded Till Freieck, former trainee at the Max-Planck-Institut für Eisenforschung (MPIE) and now materials tester at the institute, as the best trainee 2018 in the field of material testing.
They honoured Till Freieck as the best trainee 2018 in the field of material testing (from the left): Yvonne Gebauer MdL, Minister for Schools and Education of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, Michael Becker, Director of the Tonhalle Düsseldorf, Till Freieck, Materials Tester at the Max-Planck-Institut für Eisenforschung and President of the Düsseldorf Chamber of Industry & Commerce Andreas Schmitz.
Till Freieck successfully completed his apprenticeship at the MPIE last year. In 2017, he already won the Max Planck Trainee Award, which the Max Planck Society awards to trainees with outstanding achievements.
Every year, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Düsseldorf honors the best trainees of a given year. In 2016, former trainee Christian Broß was honoured for his successful graduation as a materials tester at the MPIE.
