Main Focus

My research focuses on multiscale modeling of metallic materials, with particular emphasis on correlating atomistic simulations with experimental observations. I investigate how microstructural defects, interfaces, and local chemistry influence hydrogen embrittlement, plastic deformation, and fracture, with my current work extending to defect phases and their effects on material behavior. By connecting atomic mechanisms across length scales, I aim to establish predictive relationships between microstructure and properties, supporting the design of materials with improved mechanical performance and resistance to failure.
