Dr. Theodoros Baimpos from the department of ‘Interface Chemistry and Surface Engineering’ has won the Best Poster Award for his presentation of ion layering of high concentrated salt solutions in Mica substrates using complementary Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) and Surface Force Apparatus (SFA) during the ‘2nd International Conference of Young Researchers on Advanced Materials’ (IUMRS-ICYRAM) in Haiku, China.
