Ashokanand Vimalanandan wins Poster Prize at EUROCORR 2014

Ashokanand Vimalanandan, PhD student in the department 'Interface Chemistry and Surface Engineering, has won the “Young Author´s EFC Poster Prize” at the EUROCORR 2014 in Pisa, Italy. His poster about “Redox-responsive Coatings for Corrosion Protection -Fundamental Investigation on the Self-Healing Mechanism-“ was chosen out of 174 poster contributions.

EUROCORR is the major European corrosion congress organized by the European Federation of Corrosion (EFC), where the state-of-the-art in the field of corrosion and corrosion protection are presented. The conference included 461 talks and 174 poster contributions with nearly 1000 participants.
