Supriya has worked in the field of Structure Property correlation during his Bachelor and Master's study and research. In this period, he had mainly focussed on the monotonic and cyclic deformation behaviour and yield strength modelling of differently aged Al alloys. Presently, he is working on development of ductile Mg alloys along with the basic understanding.
Mr. Nandy has joined the Institute since February 2017 as a PhD student. He is presently attached with the Diffraction and Microscopy Group in the Department of the Materials Physics and Alloy Design. Mr. Nandy has been graduated form Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India in June 2016 in the descipline of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. Prior to joing the Masters of Technolgy in 2014, he had completed his bachelor's study also in Metallugy and Materials Engineering from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, India in the year of 2014.
