"Intermetallics 2021"

It is meanwhile a pleasant tradition to invite you to our upcoming Intermetallics 2021 Conference. It will be the fifth meeting in this successfully established series of conferences, which this time is scheduled from 4th till 8th October 2021.Following our traditional scheme this conference will focus on materials based on intermetallic phases (intermetallics) to be envisaged for structural as well as functional applications. With a beneficial combination of high strength, low density and good corrosion resistance, they are specifically suited for applications at high temperatures and in severe environments. As some intermetallic phases show unique physical properties, they are also of interest for various functional applications. In addition, their possible appearance, thermodynamic stability, and role as strengthening phases in High Entropy Alloys (HEAs) or Compositionally Complex Alloys (CCAs) are recent scientific issues, which are also in the focus of this conference. It is meanwhile a pleasant tradition to invite you to our upcoming Intermetallics 2021 Conference.
