WORK EXPERIENCE
Jan. 2020 - Currently Project leader at Max-Planck-Institut für Eisenforschung GmbH (Düsseldorf, Germany) on development of membrane-electrode-assemblies (MEA) for ultra-long lifetime fuel cells. Focus is on electron microscopy characterization of the MEA before and after operation to elucidate different degradation mechanisms.
Dec. 2016 - Dec. 2019 Postdoctoral Research at Max-Planck-Institut für Eisenforschung GmbH at group Nanoanalytics and Interfaces: Exploring multinary nanoparticles by combinatorial sputtering into ionic liquids using advanced transmission (scanning) electron microscopy for energy applications.
Apr. 2010- Nov. 2016 Researcher at UAB & ICMAB-CSIC (Barcelona, Spain): Eurotapes (European Project); Research in nanomaterials synthesis and characterization for superconducting materials (Oct. 2012 - Oct. 2016)
Oct. 2014 – Mar. 2015 Research stay at University of Cologne (Germany) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sanjay Mathur: Design and characterization of iron oxide nanoparticles for water splitting application.
