Main Focus

Theory of disordered materials

Modeling of magnetic materials in their high-temperature paramagnetic phase. Alloy theory development and studies of order-disorder and clustering transitions. First-principles studies of hard coating materials. Theory of metastable multicomponent nitride alloys, phase transitions, magnetism, and piezoelectric properties.
