Scholarships

In case you are interested to join our group at a more senior level and with your own scholarship programme you are welcome to develop your own research proposal together with us and contact us at d.raabeatmpie.de to apply for a special Max Planck Scholarship Programme. Our current interest in senior colleagues lies particularly in the field of materials modeling and 3D EBSD.

Furthermore, dedicated scholarships are available within the Max-Planck Multiscale Modeling Inititative for applicants with very strong records and interest in multiscale materials modeling. This initiative consists of 7 cooperating Max-Planck Institutes.

Alexander von Humboldt Foundation

The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation supports the academic cooperation between scientists and scholars from abroad and from Germany. Programmes are offered amongst others for postdoctoral researchers, junior research group leaders, experienced researchers and cutting edge researchers. Your are welcome to apply to the prestigious Scholarship Programmes of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation at Humboldt Foundation Sponsorships when you are interested to join us.

 

German Academic Exchange Service DAAD

Another possibility is to gain a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD. The DAAD offers scholarships for young foreign elites as well as for young outstanding German elites in order to fund the further academic and personal qualification.The DAAD is a Self-Administrative Organisation of the German Institutions of Higher Education. Predestinated are : students, student trainees and interns, doctoral students, academics, researchers and outstanding German (post)graduates. Marie Curie Actions

If you are interested to join a EU research Framework Programmes the Marie Curie Actions offer Career Opportunities for Researchers covered under the '7 th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development' (FP7), which bundles all research-related EU initiatives together. In the Programme the Marie Curie Actions have built a new Group 'People', which is a 'people specific programme'.
